Personal Support Assistant

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Assistant to provide essential care and assistance to an 11-year-old boy with diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by supporting their daily activities and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving, with experience in home and community care settings. A commitment to respectful, person-centered service is essential to succeed in this rewarding position. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living. Provide transportation when necessary, including driving clients to appointments or community activities. Uphold safety standards through first aid certification and emergency response preparedness. Experience Previous experience working within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or personal care homes is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in caregiving roles and providing personal care support. Background in home & community care services or home health environments is advantageous. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation duties is preferred.
