Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Pesticide Applicator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying pesticides safely and efficiently across various sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in environmental management and pest control, with a focus on safety and precision. Duties Prepare and calibrate pesticide application equipment to ensure accurate delivery. Apply pesticides in accordance with approved procedures and safety guidelines. Inspect treatment sites prior to application to assess pest activity and determine appropriate methods. Maintain detailed records of all pesticide applications, including location, type, amount used, and weather conditions. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during handling and application of chemicals. Conduct post-treatment inspections to evaluate effectiveness and identify any follow-up actions needed. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Stay updated on current pest control techniques, regulations, and environmental considerations. Requirements Valid pesticide applicator licence. Prior experience in pest control or related environmental services. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Commitment to health and safety regulations at all times. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between sites. Willingness to undergo background checks and adhere to regulatory standards related to chemical handling.
