This contract assignment offers a dynamic schedule designed to balance patient care with flexibility, making it ideal for pharmacists seeking a varied workweek within a supportive retail environment.

Schedule:

Two-week rotating schedule with flexibility based on candidate availability and pharmacy needs. Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM

• 2:00 PM, Tuesday 9:00 AM
• 7:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM
• 7:00 PM (24 hours) Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM
• 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM
• 5:00 PM (17 hours) Pharmacy Manager open to schedule adjustments as needed

Responsibilities:

Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety Provide thorough patient counseling to optimize medication use Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians efficiently Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations Deliver exceptional customer service within a retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer care Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Flexibility to adapt schedule based on pharmacy needs Experience with McKesson Enterprise system preferred but not required This ongoing contract role presents an excellent avenue to engage with diverse patient populations while working in a grocery store pharmacy setting that values quality and compliance.
