Position Summary ProActive Work Health is seeking a skilled and adaptable Physical Therapist provide high-quality occupational medicine services in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role supports workplace injury care, regulatory exams, and employee health services for a diverse employer population. The ideal candidate has strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation practices, and a collaborative approach to patient care within occupational health and workers' compensation guidelines. Clinical Evaluation & Treatment Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal and functional evaluations of work-related injuries. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with job demands and employer expectations. Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation focused on functional capacity and work simulation. Conduct work conditioning and functional restoration programs. Perform functional testing and assist with Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) when applicable. Return-to-Work & Employer Collaboration Coordinate closely with occupational medicine providers regarding work status and restrictions. Provide objective functional progress reports and measurable outcomes. Support modified duty and transitional work planning. Communicate with case managers and employer representatives as appropriate. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, timely, and defensible documentation in compliance with workers' compensation regulations. Complete progress notes, discharge summaries, and work status recommendations within required timeframes. Ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory standards. Program & Quality Participation Contribute to clinic productivity and outcome metrics. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Support functional restoration program development where applicable. Maintain a safe, organized clinical environment. Required Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Active California Physical Therapy license in good standing. Minimum 1-2 years of orthopedic or occupational health experience preferred. Strong understanding of musculoskeletal injury management. Experience with work conditioning, functional restoration, or workers' compensation preferred. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in occupational medicine or workers' compensation settings. Familiarity with Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs). Ergonomic assessment experience. Knowledge of return-to-work and modified duty planning. Pay:
$52.00 - $65.00 per hour
