Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical well-being. This position is based in a hospital setting and requires expertise in various areas, including pediatrics and trigger point therapy.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to promote healing and improve mobility
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient treatments and progress
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Strong understanding of various physical therapy techniques and modalities
  • Ability to provide effective patient care with empathy and compassion
  • Proficiency in working with Geriatric Polulation
  • Experience in trigger point therapy is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex patient cases
  • Ability to work in an acute care hospital environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification (BLS)
