In this role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Your expertise will support a diverse patient population across inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through comprehensive physiotherapy interventions that promote recovery and independence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions, utilizing physiology and anatomy knowledge to inform treatment strategies. Develop and execute individualized care plans focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and enhancing mobility for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring smooth transitions from hospital to home or community settings. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care routines, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to medical terminology standards. Participate in acute care environments by managing inpatient caseloads efficiently within fast-paced hospital settings. Requirements Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with current registration in the applicable jurisdiction. Demonstrated experience in outpatient clinics, hospital inpatient units, home health services, or rehabilitation centers. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques specific to neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Proven ability to develop comprehensive care plans incorporating discharge planning and patient-centered goals. Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals requiring post-surgical rehabilitation. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and care coordination purposes. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
