Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Kentucky Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification required from AHA or ARC. Outpatient experience required as a licensed clinician within the last 3 years. No new graduates. Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documentation including goal writing and letters of medical necessity, and charge entry. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and to participate in student training when assigned. Maintain professional licensure and fulfill state-mandated continuing education requirements.

Preferred:

Experience with functional treatment programs aimed at community reintegration and safe patient handling techniques.

5x8 schedule.

13 week assignment.

Floating:

Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
