The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform a range of clinical tasks. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Perform procedures such as dermabrasion, suturing. Provide patient education on health management. Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure proper coding for billing purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching urgent care environment to enhance patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical practices. Skills Proficiency in dermabrasion techniques and other minor surgical procedures. Experience working in a medical office setting with familiarity in discharge planning processes. Knowledge of eClinicalWorks software for efficient patient record management. Understanding of coding practices relevant to healthcare billing. Ability to work effectively within a teaching urgent care environment, promoting learning among peers. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
