Plant Controller

Responsible for administering the accounting functions of the plant; establishes the plant's accounting principles and procedures and prepares financial reports. Responsible for ensuring all plant assets are safeguarded.

Responsibilities of Position:

Monitors and controls Inventory. Controls overhead spending. Monitors capital plan. Manufacturing cost variance analysis. Month-end closing. Annual budgeting and monitoring Monthly forecasting. Development of measurable goals for department staff. Direction of finance staff to achieve plant and corporate goals. Management of inventories and maintenance and repair orders (MRO) office supplies. Problem solving & resolution for departmental issues. Provide various weekly & daily reports as required. Accomplishment of plant & company goals May lead and direct the work of others. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
