Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Pool Attendant and be the welcoming face of our aquatic facility! In this energetic role, you will ensure the safety, cleanliness, and overall enjoyment of our guests by maintaining pool standards, providing excellent guest service, and supporting a fun and safe environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for all visitors while upholding safety protocols and pool operations. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules effectively. Perform regular pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment checks to maintain optimal water quality. Conduct thorough pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris, vacuuming, and scrubbing pool surfaces to keep the area pristine. Provide friendly assistance to guests by answering questions, offering directions, and ensuring they feel welcomed. Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring guest well-being at all times. Assist with setting up poolside amenities and organizing recreational activities or events as needed. Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities, safety checks, and incident reports. Requirements Proven experience in pool maintenance or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues if necessary. Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid are highly desirable; willingness to obtain these certifications is expected. Prior lifeguard experience or lifeguard certification is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or supplies safely. Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods.
