Summary:
AERIN is seeking a Sales Associate to create personalized shopping experiences for our customers in our retail store in East Hampton, NY. This position will maintain a retail schedule (including weekends).
Position Overview:
This role will work to achieve store sales goals and develop lasting client relationships. Through effective clientelling, you will work to create a superior store experience for our clients that results in sales growth. The Sales Associate is also responsible for complying with company procedures and initiatives. Key Responsibilities Selling & Client Service Act as a Brand Ambassador for the company, reflecting and promoting the brand image Responsible for driving sales and developing client relationships Expand and increase new client database while maintaining existing relationships with clients to promote customer loyalty Support to manage CRM KPIs set by Retail Management, ensuring that the necessary customer data is collected Provide an excellent customer experience by becoming a product expert offering styling and gift recommendations Support with all in-store marketing events Visual Merchandising Oversee visual merchandising practices and standards, ensuring that the store and the product image are up to corporate and brand standards Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards by straightening, filling in and ensuring correct placement of merchandise throughout the day Assist with stock duties when needed including shipments, markdowns, and transfers Operations Follow all internal operations and ensure they are implemented as set forth by company. Includes accuracy with use of the POS system and 100% client capture Ensure that the security procedures are properly executed, relaying all communication to the Store Manager Work with the Store Manager and follow all protocols for loss, theft prevention and inventory control Keep cash wrap area neat, organized, and maintained with all daily supplies Answer the phone and service the client's needs Help with events both in-store and off-site including setup, breakdown, and overall organization Requirements/Qualifications 1-2 years' prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment Team player to meet weekly and monthly goals Must have computer skills to support POS transactions and Reporting Systems Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills Independent work ethic, time management skills Friendly and professional phone and email etiquette Must have superior organizational and communication skills Flexibility to work weekends, opening shifts, and closing shifts Self-motivated with exceptional communication and motivational attitude
Salary:
$23 - $25/ hour •The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
