Pool Service Technician

Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain optimal water quality. Perform routine pool water testing and adjust chemical levels to ensure safe and balanced water conditions. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements as needed using hand tools and power tools. Maintain detailed records of service visits, chemical treatments, repairs, and maintenance activities for each client's pool. Identify potential issues early by conducting thorough inspections and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades to clients. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance procedures to protect yourself and clients' property. Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to maximize efficiency on each job. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling pool equipment or similar machinery. Proven ability in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance tasks efficiently. Prior experience as a service technician or in a related pool maintenance role is highly preferred. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools required for repairs and installations. Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques, chemical balancing, and water chemistry fundamentals. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients and team members.
