Porter/Maintenance at Honda of North Carolina

We are seeking a punctual, reliable, and organized individual to join our team as a Dealership Porter for Honda of North Carolina Powersports Dealership. The ideal candidate must have a passion for motorcycles, powersports, and outdoor activities. This is a part time job. We are somewhat flexible with hours and ideally would be looking for 5-6 hours a day 3 days a week (18-20 hours weekly avg)

Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership, including the showroom, customer waiting areas, service and parts and accessory area bathrooms etc. Maintain exterior of building and property including cutting grass, maintaining building, washing windows, light yard maintenance. Maintain restrooms Occasional painting of walls light general building improvements Ability and knowledge to properly operate a gas powered forklift. Assist in loading and unloading inventory Assist in transporting motorcycles and powersports vehicles to and from the service and sales department Ability to comfortably wash and polish inventory Greet customers and assist with their needs, including providing information on services Assist technicians with miscellaneous tasks as needed Have a clean driving history, and be able to load and unload vehicles on trailer and deliver units / pickup units.

Requirements:

Must be punctual, reliable, and organized Must be physically able to move motorcycles by hand. Able to work with minimal supervision and take direction when needed Passionate about motorcycles, powersports, and outdoor activities Valid driver's license and clean driving record motorcyle license prefered Ability to lift up to75 pounds Excellent communication and customer service skills The ideal candidate will work with our team and may develop skills that allow promotion into a role in our expanding service and parts operations.
