Job Description

Job Description Our client in the Atlanta and Alpharetta, GA market is seeking a candidate to join the team in the office, 3 days a week in Business Intelligence (PBI) report writer who is used to working on a small team and wearing many hats for a critical role supporting an internal product. In this role, you will be dedicated to taking high level ideas/design and communicate directly with stakeholders to get detailed requirements. You will not work off a document, but you will need to understand the business problem, make recommendations, create a proof of concept and offer a solution. Therefore, previous experience defining requirements is essential, along with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, willing to learn new things and have a positive attitude and experience with creating reports. An example of a key initiative is to use AI to answers the question "Does training and coaching work" and if so "Which training and coaching is most effective" and "which people receive the biggest benefit from the coaching/training/development"?
  • Creating dashboards & working with a variety of internal customers
  • Able to generate Complex reports and Visualizations to answer questions with accuracy
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI Report Server, Embedded Power BI
  • Good knowledge of database structures, data modeling concepts, principles and practices
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks/initiatives with multiple deadlines

  • Statistical education or degree. Or relevant Statistic experience like correlations and regressions, etc.
  • 3•5 years of experience in Power BI report writing•2-5 years of DAX experience (Data Analysis Expressions, is a formula expression language used in Power BI, Power Pivot, and Analysis Services to create calculated columns, measures, and other data analysis functions.
It is a collection of functions, operators, and constants that can be combined to build formulas for dynamic calculations and analysis within your data models. You can use DAX to perform calculations, filter data, and add logic to your reports and dashboards.)
  • Excellent Statistics knowledge
  • to do real analysis of the data and present it in an actionable way.
  • Strong Advanced Analytics experience
  • like Correlation, Regression, Distributional (percentiles), Subgroup Analysis, Propensity Score Matching, Time Series/Trend.
  • Experience with Python and R for advanced analytics
  • SQL Server experience
  • Experience with SQL
  • stores procedures, functions, dynamic SQL, triggers and SSIS
  • ETL experience on Snowflake
  • Ability to build, schedule, automate PowerBI reports
  • BI experience with Data Abstraction
  • Experience pulling source data with complex SQL queries

Statistics Compensation:
$55/hr to $70/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
