Job Description

Company Overview Children's Enrichment on the Cape is dedicated to fostering early childhood development through engaging and nurturing programming. Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic PreK Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will design and implement age-appropriate curricula, support children's social and emotional development, and create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and exploration. Your enthusiasm will inspire young learners and help lay the foundation for their future success. Duties Develop and execute a curriculum aligned with Maine's Early Learning Guidelines, embraces the inspiration of Reggio Emilia, and inspires a love of nature. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and child welfare. Support children's social-emotional growth through effective strategies and individualized attention. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children with special education needs or requiring early intervention services. Conduct assessments to monitor developmental progress. Incorporate curriculum development techniques that emphasize childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, attendance, and classroom activities. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and curriculum planning. Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices. Familiarity with special education needs, and early intervention programs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Prior experience in private schools or daycare environments is preferred. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Pay:
$20.50 - $28.30 per hour
