In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire a love of learning while ensuring each child's safety and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children during their formative years. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical activity for preschool and toddler-aged children. Plan engaging lesson plans that support diverse learning needs. Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nurturing emotional development. Manage classroom environments to foster positive behavior management and ensure a safe, inclusive space for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Proven experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development tailored for preschoolers and toddlers. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds in daycare or private school settings. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Experience with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as math integration or physical education is a plus.
