In this vital role, you will provide personalized, professional care tailored to each individual's needs, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with clients in a home or community setting, delivering high-quality support with enthusiasm and integrity. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety and proper nutrition Support patients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities through specialized memory and behavioral care Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and manage heavy lifting tasks safely to prevent injury Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior and communicate findings promptly to healthcare professionals Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes providing long-term or short-term care Certification in CPR and First Aid from recognized organizations; additional certifications such as hospice or dementia care are a plus Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges using compassionate support strategies Strong skills in patient monitoring, medication administration, and care planning within a home or community setting Physical ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and assistive device operation safely and effectively Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, families, and clients to develop personalized care plans Embrace this rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional private caregiving that enhances quality of life.
