Private Duty Pediatric Nurse

Responsibilities:

A second nurse needed for a trach, and G-button patient bed bound, Cerebral palsy, but weighs only just 50lbs.

• Candidates would provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Candidates must be ready for a refresher training on trach and associated care.
• Candidates would collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress notes
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and their families about their healthcare needs and treatment plans

Experience:

• Experience in behavioral health or nursing home settings is preferred
• Knowledge of specialized procedures such as Trach and G
• button feeding
