Pro Shop Attendant

The Reedsport Golf Course in Reedsport Oregon is searching for committed, professional, high-energy Pro Shop Attendant. This Position requires a good knowledge of golf operations. Handles cash and credit card transactions, cleans, stages and inspects golf carts daily. Maintains the course flow by positioning of groups to avoid congestion. Works with the Superintendent to regulate cart rules and special situations. Maintains a positive attitude with guests, members and the general public. Represents Reedsport Golf Course in all situations to enhance the Member/Guest experience. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members at a high-level.

Pro Shop Attendant Responsibilities:

Communicates effectively with members/guests in a pleasant and cooperative manner on the phone and in the pro shop. Schedules tee times for customers and maintains course flow while manning the shop. Understands the game of golf, explains course rules, and cautions golfers against personal/turf injury. Records all rounds of golf played during the day. Assist in tournament/scramble activities when required. Answers customer's questions concerning carts, golf club rentals, merchandise, and golfing services and range activity. Operates cash register, accepts payment and makes change for golfers Cleans shelves, counters, restrooms and pro shop daily. Vacuums floors as needed in entry ways, club room, pro shop and restrooms. Restocks snack and drinks, as needed. Restocks range balls as needed Follows established open and/or closing procedure to record daily activity. Follow Super's direction on cart rules and playing conditions and post appropriate signage to direct patrons. Assist during special events and provide a professional appearance and golf knowledge.
