Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers. About The Role This role is part of the Global Raw Material team and responsible for the procurement strategy of all Surfactants, Solvents, Waxes and Mineral Oil in North America, aligned with the global strategy The portfolio oversees a spend of ~ $60-65 Million covering 2 sites (Belle Mead and St. Peters) and support to co-packers (Tijuana is under the scope but will move to EH) Main responsibility is the development and execution of global category, sustainable sourcing and supplier management strategies to achieve competitive advantage through lowest purchase cost and value improvements consistent with the direction set by the business. This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time. Your responsibilities Develop and execute the optimal strategy that delivers business objectives. Deliver results in key performance areas including cost management, financial forecast accuracy, NWC performance, service & quality to plants, process improvements and innovation. Have full financial accountability for the category (Budget, Forecast, PPV, NWC). Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships. Develop Commodity Risk Management strategy aligned with key stakeholders. Keep tracking of regulatory and quality implications across the portfolio. Develop and implement sustainability strategy in collaboration with Sustainability group. Lead and develop direct reports.
