As a Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY) with us, you'll build your clinical skills, receive guidance from seasoned experts, and make a positive difference for those we serve.Position Overview:
We're looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY) to join us. The CFY will work alongside a licensed speech-language pathologist, providing evaluations and therapeutic support for individuals with communication needs.Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills through standardized tools, clinical observation, and interviews. Create customized treatment plans addressing key areas such as language, fluency, voice, and social communication based on assessment data, client goals, and research-backed practices. Maintain detailed records, documenting assessments, progress, and final reports according to professional standards.Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Understanding of speech-language pathology principles and interventions across different age groups. Strong collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. Compassion, empathy, and professionalism in client interactions. Dedication to ethical practices, confidentiality, and fostering an inclusive, respectful environment. Capacity to manage time, prioritize tasks, and function independently in a dynamic clinical setting.Benefits:
