Job Title:
Production Associate Job Description The Paint Line Worker role involves supporting a high-volume manufacturing paint operation in a hands-on, fast-paced setting. The position requires consistent physical activity and attention to detail. The Paint Line Worker is responsible for preparing, hanging, painting flow, labeling, and packaging hydraulic cylinders to meet increased production demand. Responsibilities Prepare hydraulic cylinders for the paint line by cleaning, staging, and inspecting parts. Hang and remove cylinders from the paint line using proper techniques and assist-lift equipment. Palletize and depalletize finished products. Apply stickers and labels accurately according to work orders. Package and pack completed cylinders for shipment. Read, follow, and verify work orders to ensure correct processing. Maintain a steady workflow in a fast-paced production environment. Follow all safety, quality, and production standards. Essential Skills Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move continuously during the workday. Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays. Basic ability to read and follow work orders and labels. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, paint line, or assembly environments is a plus. Familiarity with palletizing or industrial packaging. Comfort learning new equipment, with lift-assist devices training provided. Ability to adapt quickly as production volume increases. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing floor setting with consistent movement between departments. The position involves standing, walking, and observing active machining operations for most of the shift, with exposure to typical machine shop elements such as noise and machinery. Adhere to a standard first-shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. A workstation and computer are provided for entering documentation into Shop Guru. Collaborate frequently with the Engineering Supervisor and report directly to the Manufacturing Engineer. Personal protective equipment includes steel-toed/composite boots, with a metatarsal guard provided. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Tonawanda, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
