Production Associate - Molding Operator 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available!! $15/hr-16.50/hr Start ASAP Job Description This role focuses on operating molding equipment and performing detailed quality sorting of molded products. You will monitor production, inspect parts for defects and color accuracy, and document your findings to support a high-quality manufacturing process. The position suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, can follow clear instructions, and works reliably with minimal supervision in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Responsibilities Operate molding machines that are already set up and ready for production by starting, stopping, and monitoring them as needed. Perform quality sorting of molded products into various boxes immediately after they come off the molding machine. Inspect products for defects, such as visual imperfections or irregularities, and separate nonconforming parts. Distinguish and verify product colors accurately to ensure they match required specifications. Prepare products for quality disposition by following established inspection and sorting procedures. Read, follow, and interpret written work instructions related to molding, inspection, packaging, and assembly tasks. Complete sort sheets accurately, including documenting inspection results and identifying materials. Record and document findings clearly and legibly to support quality and production tracking. Package and prepare finished parts for the next stage of production or shipment, following packaging standards. Perform basic assembly and assembling-related tasks as required to support production operations. Follow machine operation and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe work area. Work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity, quality, and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with product quality or machine performance promptly. Essential Skills Experience in light manufacturing or production, preferably in a molding, packing, inspection, or assembly environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision while staying productive and attentive to quality. Ability to read and interpret written instructions and work instructions, which is important for assembly and inspection tasks. Basic understanding of machine operation in a production setting. Strong attention to detail for identifying defects and verifying product colors. Ability to accurately complete documentation such as sort sheets and inspection records. Capability to follow standardized procedures for inspection, packaging, and assembling. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience as a production associate, machine operator, or molding operator. Background in inspection, packaging, or assembly work in a manufacturing environment. Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with clear work instructions. Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance to support long-term, full-time employment opportunities. Why Work Here? Available shifts typically include three options: first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and third shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Team members receive a 20-minute paid lunch and one 10-minute paid break per shift. Work centers involve molding machines and related production and inspection equipment, with a strong emphasis on following written work instructions. The dress code requires closed-toe shoes, jeans, and a plain shirt or sweatshirt without profanity, supporting a practical and professional environment. A dedicated break room with multiple tables and several vending machines, including options stocked with fresh food daily, is available for employee use. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emigsville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
