Production Associate (General Production Operator)
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.65/hour
Schedule:
Rotating schedule (4 crews) Position Overview Join our growing team as a Production Associate supporting the manufacturing of specialty carbon and graphite products. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with a clear pathway to advancement through cross-training into higher-level operator positions. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility Operate production equipment such as saws, presses, crushers, and cleaning machines Perform general production tasks including cutting, cleaning, and packaging Safely operate material-handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, hoists) Conduct inspections and record measurements using tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers Accurately label and track materials and finished goods Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Assist experienced operators and participate in cross-training opportunities Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Support team production goals and daily operations Requirements High School Diploma or GED Ability to work in a physically demanding role (lifting up to 65 lbs occasionally) Comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting Basic math and measurement skills (including reading a tape measure) Strong reliability, attendance, and work ethic Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing or industrial experience Forklift experience or certification Experience working with tools, machinery, or manual equipment Comfortable working around older, manual production equipment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to different production areas Why Join Us?
