Production Manager

Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing operations within the facility, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely Oversee assembly line activities, ensuring proper workflow, quality standards, and adherence to safety protocols Manage warehouse operations related to raw materials and finished goods inventory, utilizing forklift and power tools as needed Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline manufacturing procedures Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance or coordinating repairs with maintenance teams Lead training sessions for staff on the use of hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures in the factory environment Maintain detailed records of production metrics, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance logs Skills Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with a strong understanding of assembly lines and manufacturing processes Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues quickly and effectively Hands-on experience operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment Familiarity with warehouse management practices and inventory control systems Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a safety-first culture Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and process documentation Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
