Job Description
Oversee all aspects of food production operations, including planning, staffing, scheduling, equipment, and workflow. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and line staff to ensure high performance and accountability. Monitor production KPIs (yields, throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, waste) and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations. Analyze production data and identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Manage staffing levels to meet production demand while controlling labor costs. Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of production equipment. Enforce a culture of safety, cleanliness, and food compliance throughout the facility.
