Production Operations Manager

Oversee all aspects of food production operations, including planning, staffing, scheduling, equipment, and workflow.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and line staff to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Monitor production KPIs (yields, throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, waste) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze production data and identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Manage staffing levels to meet production demand while controlling labor costs.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of production equipment.
• Enforce a culture of safety, cleanliness, and food compliance throughout the facility.
• Additional activities as assigned.
