PRODUCTION PLANNER

job summary: A leading electronics manufacturer in the Leeds AL area is seeking an experienced Production/Material Planner. Leeds, Alabama job type: Contract salary: $26•30 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: Develop and implement production schedules based on the availability of raw materials, production capacity, and customer demand.

Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential shortages or bottlenecks in the supply chain.

Monitor production performance to ensure that production schedules are being met and adjust schedules as needed to maintain optimal production flow.

Work closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure that production schedules are aligned with customer needs and that inventory levels are optimized.

Continuously evaluate and improve production planning processes to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
