We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance in all our operations. We are looking for a Production Supervisor to successfully develop and manage the production team, ensuring the efficient use of resources—including personnel, equipment, and facilities—to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives. This role requires deep technical expertise in manufacturing processes, high-precision assembly. The Supervisor will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to build a highly skilled and motivated team while maintaining strict compliance with the company's Quality System requirements. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Management Optimize production schedules based on labor availability, equipment efficiency, and material supply to maximize throughput. Ensure on-time delivery and 100% customer satisfaction through hands-on supervision of daily operations. Lead workflow scheduling, productivity monitoring, and troubleshooting of production processes. Team Leadership & Employee Development Select, train, develop, and evaluate personnel to build a strong high-performance team. Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to drive employee growth and operational success. Manage staffing decisions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions while fostering an engaging and accountable work environment. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing Lead and enforce continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and Kaizen to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Implement best manufacturing practices (e.g., visual management, waste elimination, and 5S methodologies). Develop and maintain production metrics (KPIs) for quality, delivery, and safety, utilizing data to drive efficiency improvements. Compliance & Safety Management Establish and maintain production processes in compliance with company Quality System requirements (ISO, GMP, FDA, etc.). Promote and enforce OSHA and workplace safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment. Communicate and ensure adherence to all company policies and safety regulations. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Materials, Sourcing, and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve production challenges efficiently. Support engineering and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and optimizing equipment performance. Evaluate, purchase, and maintain required equipment in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering. Training & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Develop and maintain SOPs for production personnel to ensure process consistency and compliance. Manage employee training programs to enhance competency and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Associate's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
Required:
5+ years of medical device manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Preferred:
10 years of related manufacturing experience, with 5-7 years in a leadership/mentor role.
Technical & Leadership Skills:
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (3-5 years preferred). Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows, process optimization, and equipment troubleshooting. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and Continuous Improvement strategies. Ability to problem-solve, drive continuous improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Laser welding, soldering, crimping in a manufacturing setting
Physical & Work Requirements Physical Demands:

Visual Requirements:
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
