Production Welder 1st Shift

Production Welder 1st Shift Valley Staffing is partnering with an established family owned company for a Production/MIG Welder position. Primary functions in this role:

• Using HR and CR with some Stainless
• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Experience using, or comfortable learning how to use robotic welder
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
• Assisting in other departments of production areas

Requirements:

• Welding certificate, or equivalent experience
• MIG and TIG welding experience required
• Must be open to using robotic welder
• Must have own welding gear including helmet
• Must be open to helping out with machine operating when need arises

Shift:

7 AM to 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri

$23
