Program Coordinator - Horse Barn

The Horse Program Coordinator will design and coordinate the Equine/ Horses/ Horse Barn programming for the Deer Valley camps. Programs will include trail rides, pony rides, and horse familiarization activities (grooming, etc.). The Coordinator will also ensure the health and well-being of the horses, and the safety and cleanliness of the barn and pastures. The Coordinator will be accountable to the Program Directors and/or the Executive Director.

Qualifications:

Proficient horsemanship skills and riding ability. Knowledge of horse care and riding. Understanding of and ability to operate a barn facility. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. Driver's license. Minimum of 21 years of age. 2 years of experience preferred. Possess the ability to follow through on requests, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and provide the highest level of customer service. Ability to work independently. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
