Full-time Job Description:

Program Director shall have sufficient qualifications, knowledge, and experience to execute the duties of the position; shall be knowledgeable about the regulations applicable to the program, and shall be responsible for administrative oversight of the OMHC program.

Requirement:

Have at a minimum: Master's degree in counseling or a related discipline regulated under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, and certification or licensure as an alcohol and drug counselor by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners LCSW-C or LCPC.

Expected Duties:

Fulfills the administrative and programmatic requirements under COMAR Keeps the advisory committee, or governing body, whichever is applicable, informed of, at a minimum, the program's approval status and performance; Implements Quality Management strategies; internal audits Ensures the development of a staffing plan that identifies the type and number of staff needed to provide a program of rehabilitation and recovery services Billing and authorizations Maintains small caseload (assessments, treatment planning0 Provide coaching and hands-on supervision as needed with all therapists. Works with staff and/or immediate supervisor(s) in cases requiring corrective or disciplinary action and performance improvement planning. Maintain good relationships with community stakeholders and partners in mental health service delivery as directed.
