We're looking for a motivated and highly organised Project Coordinator to support the delivery of projects across our Recreation, Sport & Events unit. Working closely with the Facilities Establishment Programme Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating projects, providing reporting insights, and ensuring successful delivery across a diverse portfolio of initiatives. About the role | Ko te mahi nei You'll be at the heart of project delivery, supporting multiple initiatives from planning through to completion.
Your work will include:
Developing and maintaining project plans aligned to scope, timelines, and budget Preparing regular project, participation and financial reports Coordinating project teams, meetings, documentation, and approvals Conducting research, benchmarking, and analysis to inform decision-making and service improvements Building strong working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders Acting as a key point of contact and keeping stakeholders informed throughout project lifecycles About you | Ko Koe Tēnei You're a proactive, detail-oriented coordinator who enjoys working across multiple priorities and collaborating with a wide range of people.
You will bring:
At least 3 years' experience in a project or programme environment Strong project coordination, tracking, and reporting experience The ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands simultaneously Experience monitoring budgets, costs, and project resources Strong analytical and research capability Excellent organisational and administrative skills Confidence using tools such as MS Excel and project management systems
