Job Description

Prairie Lakes Management is looking for a self-motivated Property Manager with excellent communication skills to oversee Highland apartments in New Ulm. The Property Manager is responsible for managing the on-site operations of the apartment community. Site Managers are responsible for showing apartments to prospective tenants, answering the phone, email, and correspondence, processing applications, handling lease paperwork, rent collection, and tenant relations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Answer all phone calls.
  • Daily Leasing and follow-up.
  • Oversee community caretakers to ensure timely turnovers and over all cleanliness.
  • Ability to oversee and work with property specific contractors per season.
  • Rent collection, filling out delinquency reports, sending out delinquent rent notices, contacting residents for collection of rent.
  • Keep storage/mechanical areas neat and clean.
  • Maintain building material, supplies and equipment in a secure manner.
  • Monitor advertising for effectiveness.
  • Resident relations
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out appointments.
  • Ensure all apartments are market ready.
  • Perform weekly inspections.
  • Light Maintenance.
  • Process rental applications.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with PLM team. Job Requirements
