Job Description
Dental Health Clinic is looking to expand our clinical staff to accommodate our growing patient base. We are searching for a motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our small, close-knit dental team. We value professionalism and kindness in providing exceptional dental care to our many generations of patients. The ideal canidate is one who shares these patient care qualities and is eager deliver comprehensive dental care. The position is around 32 hours a week, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 5:00. No Fridays, evenings, or weekends. Duties Conduct comprehensive, patient centered care while collaborating with the dentist during examinations to ensure optimal treatment outcomes. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options. Obtain dental bitewing and panoramic x-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling/root planing services to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, charts, treatment plans, and progress notes through Eaglesoft. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Adhere to all HIPAA and office protocols. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Current valid MN licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations. Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus but not required. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Current CPR/BLS Certification Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach tailored to comprehensive dentistry for the whole family.
