Psychiatrist

Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide outpatient psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, medication review and treatment to individuals in need of specialty psychiatric services. Services are provided in a culturally competent and trauma informed manner that focuses on a person-centered approach. In addition, prepare treatment plans, coordinate and communicate clinical decision making with input from the individual and other providers (case managers, PCPs, etc.) to ensure care is provided in a recovery-based and integrated approach. In addition, this candidate will serve as a collaborating physician for mid-level practitioners. QualificationsRequires M.D. or D.O. degree. Required Michigan Medical license, valid DEA required. Recognized Board Certification/eligibility preferred. Clinical experience with children and/or adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred. Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment preferred. Computer skills including experience with electronic medical record for consumer charting preferred. SalarySalary range is negotiable based on license and experience.
