You will utilize your technical expertise in precision measurement and visual inspection to drive a culture of quality across the production floor. Responsibilities Perform detailed visual and cosmetic inspections to identify defects such as warping, splay, or burns, ensuring only top-tier products reach our customers. Execute precise dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify compliance with engineering prints. Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including First Article Inspections (FAI) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), to ensure full traceability. Collaborate with production teams to proactively address quality concerns and escalate issues according to established protocols. Verify adherence to customer-specific requirements, including specialized testing and packaging standards. Promote a safe work environment by identifying hazards and strictly adhering to OSHA and hazardous material handling guidelines. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering prints, control plans, and technical manuals. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as pin gauges and micrometers. Strong attention to detail with the ability to pass color vision testing. Basic computer literacy for logging inspection data and reports. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with AQL sampling procedures and quality management systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex technical variables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
