Job Description
Position SummaryECS is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards across all phases of software development, testing, deployment, and sustainment. This position is integral to maintaining compliance with performance, cybersecurity, and documentation requirements, thereby ensuring the operational readiness and effectiveness of the enterprise IT program.
ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee quality assurance governance activities throughout the software lifecycle.
Establish and enforce quality standards and validation procedures for software artifacts.
Conduct compliance audits and track corrective actions to ensure adherence to technical and functional requirements.
Coordinate defect resolution and process improvements with development and engineering teams.
Implement quality governance practices that support configuration management and release control.
Provide oversight of testing activities to ensure deliverables meet Government performance standards.
Ensure alignment of software development with enterprise compliance and cybersecurity requirements.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to support quality objectives.

DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Intermediate proficiency levelCertifications (one or more required):CSSLP, GCLD, GSECEducation:
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing governance in DoD or Federal IT environmentsProven experience leading QA activities in Agile, DevSecOps, or structured SDLC environmentsDemonstrated ability to conduct compliance audits and coordinate corrective actionsExperience in establishing and maintaining quality standards and validation proceduresStrong capability in overseeing testing activities and ensuring deliverables align with operational objectivesSimilar jobs in Fairfax, VA
