Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across diverse clinical settings. This energetic position offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in portable X-Ray, assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to perform imaging procedures that are essential for effective treatment planning and medical evaluation. Responsibilities Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort while maintaining a professional, caring demeanor. Operate advanced imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and Electrocardiograms with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure a sterile environment. Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images that meet diagnostic requirements while respecting patient privacy and dignity. Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to evaluate images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary for diagnostic accuracy. Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment logs in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing training.. Qualifications Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.. Proven experience working in urgent care settings, emergency rooms, or Level II trauma centers with familiarity in emergency medicine protocols. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles essential for accurate image acquisition and interpretation. Hands-on experience operating portable X-ray equipment. Demonstrated ability to maintain aseptic technique during procedures and adhere strictly to safety standards. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments that requires excellent driving skills to work in multiple locations such as convalescent, assisted living Centers, and home care environments maintaining attention to detail. $37.14 - $44.73 per hour
