Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as an Imaging Professional specializing in Radiology and X-ray technology. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact within a busy hospital environment, working alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional diagnostic care.
Schedule:
5 shifts per week, each 8 hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Every third weekend rotation, same hours Participation in call coverage during your assigned weekend
Qualifications:
Current credentials as a Radiologic Technologist, with proven expertise in both Radiology and X-ray imaging Proficiency in operating room procedures is essential Prior experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Hospital is required Strong understanding and application of radiation safety following ALARA principles Familiarity with hospital information service systems preferred Excellent patient education skills, documentation, and attention to detail Effective communicator with physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Perform routine, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging exams, including surgical (OR) procedures as requested Ensure accurate documentation and follow all requisition requirements Provide responsive, reliable support to staff, patients, and regulatory bodies Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols and hospital policies Serve as a resource to patients, offering education and compassionate care throughout the diagnostic process Participate in quality assurance initiatives and report incidents as required Contribute to a positive, accountable work environment through professionalism and collaboration This position allows you to play a pivotal role in delivering superior imaging services, supporting patient outcomes, and contributing to an exceptional care experience.
