Job Description

Job Overview Giant Storage is a luxury storage facility; featuring the largest units in the industry with sought after amenities. We are looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk and perform a variety of administrative tasks. You will be the first point of contact with our customer base.
Duties include:
Offering administrative support across the organization. Coordinate front-desk activities, Distribute correspondence and redirect phone calls. Ensure customer satisfaction with their facility experience. Contact vendors to resolve facility issues. Provide daily correspondence with management Compile monthly summary reports Receive payments and successfully process them Execute duties and responsibilities in a welcoming guest-centric environment
Requirements:
Must be willing to work Wednesday-Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off). A pleasant personality is required as this is a customer service role. You should be able to deal with minor issues in a timely and effective manner. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential. The ability to maintain administrative tasks to the highest quality standards with very little direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests Direct visitors to the appropriate sales personAnswer, screen, and forward incoming phone callsEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures). Clean the office and restroom Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/emailReceive payments and direct their accounting Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stockUpdate calendars and schedule meetings Keep updated records of office expenses and costsPerform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing Contact vendors and ensure repairs or maintenance is completed to a highstandard
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers) Professional attitude and appearance Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude
Education:
High school degree or equivalency The ideal candidate should be affable and enjoy extensive customer communication. •
