Job Type:
Full-Time Position Summary The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving revenue growth across a multi-state territory spanning from Virginia to Maine. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and successfully closing sales of products and services. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-driven, experienced in selling through dealership networks, and comfortable with extensive weekly travel.
Compensation Base Salary:
$125,000
Commission:
Uncapped earning potential with commissions up to an additional $100,000+ annually Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): $200,000+ Required Qualifications (Must-Have - Do Not Apply Without) Valid CDL-B (Commercial Driver's License - Class B) Proven experience selling into or managing a dealership network Ability and willingness to travel 100% weekly (Monday-Friday) Must reside within the Northeast territory (Virginia through Maine) Key Responsibilities Develop new business by planning and executing a strategic sales plan across the Northeast territory Identify and pursue new accounts while maintaining and growing existing dealership and customer relationships Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on walk-throughs for customers and dealers Generate accurate and timely quotes based on customer needs and product specifications Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals Adapt sales presentations based on different markets and dealership environments Submit orders accurately using product literature and pricing guidelines Investigate customer concerns, resolve issues, and recommend solutions to management Provide operational and mechanical training to end users and dealership partners Collaborate with internal teams to achieve company sales goals and objectives Core Competencies Strong decision-making and sound judgment Effective execution and time management skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High level of initiative and self-motivation Strong organizational and planning abilities Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to satisfaction Leadership and relationship-building skills Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
Additional Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
3-5+ years of proven sales experience (equipment, fleet, or dealership-related sales strongly preferred)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals Excellent presentation and follow-up skills Highly persistent and comfortable working with a variety of personalities Ability to effectively manage a large, multi-state territory Customer service-oriented mindset Proficient in
