Job Description

Inspired By YOU, LLC, a locally owned developmental disability agency with a passion for serving the developmentally disabled population, is excited to welcome talented Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), BCBA's, BCaBA's, Behavior Intervention Technicians (BIT), Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS), and Behavior Intervention Professionals (BIP) to our team. As a smaller agency, we aim to make a positive impact for children and families navigating the challenges of developmental disabilities. We utilize evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis scientific practices that focus on individualized interventions and programs, embracing a client-led, strength-based, collaboration focused methodology. We blend structured and natural teaching methods to encourage independence and confidence in children while providing one-on-one and small group behavioral therapy. Additionally, we love fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where teamwork with families and fellow professionals—such as school professionals, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and counselors—truly thrives!     A total of $500, with $250 awarded after one month of employment and an additional $250 after 90 days of service.

  • Registered Behavior Technician(RBT): $20
  • 22 per hour
  • This position is for someone over 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
This position is ideal for someone who has taken the 40 hour RBT training and is registered (or in the process of being registered) on the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) website as an RBT. This position could also work for someone who is seeking to become an RBT. Upon hiring, we can provide the 40 hour training, necessary supervision and guidance through the competency assessment process to prepare for the necessary exam needed to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Behavior Intervention Technicians(BIT): $18
  • 20/hour
  • This opportunity is ideal for college students who seek a paid internship and are within 24 semester credits of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in a human services-related field.
Relevant academic studies include Sociology, Special Education, Counseling, Child Development, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, and other related disciplines. Candidates must have completed 1,040 supervised hours of experience working with children aged 0 to 17 who exhibit functional or behavioral needs.
  • Behavior Intervention Specialists(BIS): $23
  • 25 per hour
  • Hold a current Habilitative Intervention Certificate from Idaho Department of Health and Welfare OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Service .
Has one thousand forty (1,040) hours of supervised experience working with participants birth to twenty-one (21) years of age who demonstrate functional or behavioral needs; and has met the competency requirements outlined by the Department by completing one of the following: a. A forty (40) hour applied behavior analysis training delivered by an individual who is certified or credential to provide the training; OR b. Intervention Specialist competency checklist once hired.
  • Behavior Intervention Professionals(BIP): $28
  • 30/hour
  • Applicants are required to possess a master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or a related discipline.
Candidates must also have completed at least 1,500 hours of pertinent coursework or training in child development principles, learning theory, and behavior support methodologies. It is also necessary for candidates to demonstrate a minimum of 1,200 hours of relevant experience in the design and implementation of comprehensive behavioral therapies for individuals with functional or behavioral needs.
  • Community Based Support Staff(CBS):$15-17/hour
  • Providers of community-based supports must meet the following minimum qualifications: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, Demonstrate the ability to provide services according to a plan of service, must complete community based supports course.
Community-based supports provides assistance to a child with a developmental disability by facilitating the child's independence and integration into the community. This service provides an opportunity for children to explore their interests, practice skills learned in other therapeutic environments, and learn through interactions in typical community activities. Integration into the community enables children to expand their skills related to activities of daily living, and reinforces skills to achieve or maintain mobility, sensory-motor, communication, socialization, personal care, relationship building, and participation in leisure and community activities. Community-based supports ensures the child is involved in age-appropriate activities and is engaging with typical peers according to the ability of the child. Duties, Roles, & Responsibilities Uses positive behavior support techniques and utilization of replacement behaviors that are socially significant to the client. Understand and adhere to the Code of Ethics as set forth in IBY Policies and Procedures. Demonstrate ethics and professional knowledge, know the processes for abuse/neglect reporting, show cultural sensitivity, demonstrate confidentiality, and treat clients and families with dignity. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of developmental disabilities and evidence based models of learning. Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly, and professional communication with family, caregivers, and other professionals. Produce objective session notes that accurately describe what occurred during the sessions. Demonstrating accurate data collection by collecting and appropriately documenting data, reporting other variables that might affect the client (e.g., illness, relocation, medication), and explaining how those should be documented within paperwork and data/graphs. Recognize components and use techniques identified in the implementation plan to teach/develop new skills. Tailors reinforcement, instruction and intervention strategies to address individual differences, preferences, goals/outcomes, learning styles, and culture. Implements strategies from the intervention plans as written to ensure maintenance, generalization and strengthening of functional skills. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
