Job Description
Join a Whole-Body Dental Team That Believes Hygiene Changes Lives Are you a hygienist who wants to do more than "just clean teeth"? At Frenchtown Dental , we believe dental hygiene is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve not only oral health, but whole-body health. We are looking for a caring, curious, team-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist who wants to be part of a practice that is prevention-focused, relationship-centered, and always learning. Our practice has a strong focus on whole-body dentistry, airway health, periodontal wellness, myofunctional therapy, oral-systemic health, and helping patients truly understand the "why" behind their care. We want someone who loves educating patients, building trust, and being part of real healing — not just checking boxes. What Makes Our Practice Different At Frenchtown Dental, our hygiene department is a core part of our clinical philosophy. We care deeply about the connection between the mouth and the rest of the body, including inflammation, breathing, sleep, facial development, periodontal disease, and long-term wellness. Our hygienists are encouraged to think critically, educate thoroughly, and partner with patients in their health journey. You'll be joining a team that values: Whole-body health We look beyond teeth and gums. We care about how oral health impacts the entire body. Airway-focused dentistry We screen for signs of sleep-disordered breathing, poor oral rest posture, myofunctional concerns, and growth/development issues. Prevention and healing We want to help patients understand root causes, improve habits, reduce inflammation, and take ownership of their health. Team-based learning We are constantly growing, learning, and improving together. Mentorship and support Our hygiene team currently includes four experienced hygienists with approximately 15-30 years of experience each , creating an incredible opportunity for mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth — especially for a newer hygienist who is eager to learn. A fun, supportive workplace We take our work seriously, but we also genuinely enjoy each other. We want our office to feel positive, encouraging, and team-focused. Who We're Looking For The ideal hygienist is someone who: Loves educating patients and building relationships Believes hygiene is connected to whole-body health Is curious, growth-minded, and open to learning new approaches Works well as part of a team Cares about excellence, but also kindness Is interested in airway, myofunctional therapy, perio, nutrition, inflammation, or holistic dentistry Wants to be part of a practice that is doing things differently Experience is wonderful, but we are also open to a newer hygienist who is excited to learn. With our experienced hygiene team, we can offer strong mentorship and support for the right person. What You'll Do Provide excellent preventive and periodontal care Educate patients on oral-systemic health Support airway and whole-body screening conversations Partner with the doctor and team on comprehensive patient care Build long-term relationships with patients and families Continue learning and growing alongside a supportive clinical team Why You'll Love Working Here Supportive, experienced hygiene team Mentorship opportunities Whole-body and airway-focused philosophy Strong team culture Learning-focused environment Positive, fun, caring workplace Opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives If you are a hygienist who wants your work to matter — who wants to help people breathe better, heal better, understand their health better, and feel truly cared for — we would love to meet you. Apply to join the Frenchtown Dental team.
