Registered Dental Hygienist Full Job Description Overview:

Private periodontal office in Brookline seeks experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team one to two days per week with potential to expand to full time if desired. Our office believes in providing optimum care for our patients and our team takes pride in providing superior care every day! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of dental office experience and will provide quality dental care in a professional and compassionate manner.

Duties:

• Perform periodontal maintenance, SRP, charting
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• X-rays as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records (EMR and paper)
• Review/document medical history and medications
• Administer local anesthesia when indicated Our hygiene department is the co-therapist in our patient's dental therapy and an integral part of steering the patient's treatment.
