Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing services in a home healthcare setting, with a primary focus on medication setup for clients in their homes. This part-time position is responsible for ensuring medications are accurately organized according to physician orders, supporting client safety, and maintaining compliance with agency policies and applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities Perform medication setup in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and agency protocols Review medication lists for accuracy, proper dosage, and scheduling Ensure medications are properly labeled, organized, and safely stored Identify and report medication discrepancies, concerns, or changes to the supervising nurse or office staff Observe and report changes in client condition as appropriate Educate clients and caregivers on medication schedules and safety when applicable Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of services provided Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA confidentiality standards Communicate effectively with office staff regarding scheduling, care needs, and concerns Maintain professional boundaries at all times while working in clients' homes Qualifications Active RN or LPN license in good standing Experience in home healthcare, medication management, or geriatric care preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and documentation skills Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain Work Schedule Part-time Flexible scheduling based on client needs

Pay:

$28.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 - 40.0 per week
