Job Description
Join Delta Health and play a vital role in delivering exceptional cardiopulmonary care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics—while supporting our critical care teams when they need you most. Position Overview Under the direction of the Cardiopulmonary Manager, you will provide high-quality respiratory and cardiopulmonary services throughout the hospital, including critical care areas. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, patients, and families to ensure safe, compassionate, and effective care. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in accordance with hospital policies and professional standardsAssess patient conditions, prioritize treatments, and respond promptly to complicationsSafely administer respiratory treatments and medications; monitor and report effects and side effectsAccurately document care and medications in the MAR and medical recordEducate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory healthCommunicate changes in patient status to physicians, supervisors, and care teamsDemonstrate expert use of cardiopulmonary and respiratory equipmentParticipate in departmental quality standards, training, and continuing educationPlan and coordinate workflow to ensure timely, efficient patient careMaintain a strong focus on patient and staff safety
PRN Commitment Minimum:
2 shifts per monthHoliday Requirement:
1 holiday per year Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy programLicensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of ColoradoNBRC registration or certification preferred Required upon hire:BLS & ACLS
(American Heart Association)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required within 60 days of hire: PALS (American Heart Association)Preferred:
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care, emergency, or ICU experienceExperience with a variety of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipmentSimilar remote jobs
