Full Time Opportunity- 3pm-11pmJob Summary:
Registration Specialist is responsible for managing both the patient registration process and the PBX phone system.Duties include:
Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner. Collect and verify personal, demographic, insurance, and medical information for patient registration. Ensure that all required consent forms, insurance verification, and financial responsibility forms are completed. Communicate with patients regarding billing, payment policies, and other relevant information as needed. Answer incoming calls to the hospital's main PBX system promptly and professionally. Direct calls to the appropriate departments, staff members, or medical units as required. Provide assistance to callers, including answering questions or offering information related to hospital services. Offer excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the electronic systems Collaborate effectively with the admissions and healthcare team to ensure the smooth flow of patients. Assist other departments as needed, ensuring efficient communication between teams during evening shifts. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations. Follow hospital policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferredExperience:
Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.Certifications:
