Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Time leading to Full-Time experienced Residential Assistant Property Manager. Must possess a very strong work ethic and have the ability to work alone and take initiatives as issues occur. Must be a team player!
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Communicate to property manager the problems that directly impact office and property operations.
  • Enforce property rules, standards, policies.
  • Process prospective tenant applications and assist with lease signings.
  • Computer and basic bookkeeping skills required.
  • Be familiar and able to act on issues related to Landlord/Tenant Code.
  • Comply with all Fair Housing and Regulatory requirements.
  • Perform walk-throughs, document findings, events and issues.
  • Answering phones, processing tenant payments and receipts & creating service work orders.
  • Be professional at all times.
Required skills and abilities:
  • Must possess excellent coordinating abilities and time management skills.
  • Must be organized, assertive, confident and be able to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instruction.
  • Have a working knowledge of basic office procedures, computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to learn and master property management software system.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.
Education/Experience:
  • High school graduation required.
  • Previous assistant property management experience needed (2+ years).
