Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver expert care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a collaborative clinical environment. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state of Ohio Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques, equipment, and protocols Effective communication and critical thinking skills Prior experience in clinical respiratory therapy preferred
Schedule:
Details regarding specific hours or shifts will be provided during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' respiratory status and develop appropriate care plans Administer therapeutic procedures such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation Monitor patients' responses to therapy and modify treatments as needed Collaborate and communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Document patient care activities accurately in medical records Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with established protocols Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and disease management
